Yesterday, Ofgem published its Final Determinations for gas distribution companies. As discussed further in our initial assessments, the regulator has increased baseline totex allowances and increased the WACC relative to the Draft Determinations, but there are still significant differences with company Business Plans. Companies will now be seriously considering a CMA appeal.
