Adam Hunt

Adam is a Consultant at Economic Insight who works on competition, disputes and regulatory assignments.  He is proficient in various analytical techniques, with a particular expertise in econometrics, which he translates into clear findings for our clients.

In relation to regulatory matters, Adam has been extensively involved in advising clients through price determinations and subsequent CMA redeterminations (or appeals).  Topics he has advised on include: cost benchmarking; risk modelling; real price effects; and financeability.  He has supported regulated companies across a range of industries, including: gas distribution (Cadent and Northern Gas Networks); water (Wessex Water, Severn Trent Water, and Northern Ireland Water); and aviation (Heathrow).
