David Arnett

David is a Consultant, who works across our competition, litigation and regulation practices.  He is skilled in developing qualitative and quantitative analyses to answer complex economic questions, and communicating the resulting insights through clear, compelling narratives.

Since joining Economic Insight, David has supported clients through regulatory price determinations and subsequent CMA redeterminations and appeals.  Issues he has advised on include productivity (frontier shift), outcome incentives, real price effects, asset health and financeability.  He has worked with a number of regulated companies, including the four gas distribution network companies in Great Britain; National Gas Transmission; and several water utilities, such as Anglian Water, Wessex Water, and Welsh Water.
