Kyran Stewart

Kyran is a Senior Consultant at Economic Insight, who manages major assignments for clients across our practice areas.

Since joining us, Kyran has advised on a range of regulatory and competition matters.  In regulation, he played a key role in supporting Wessex Water at PR24 and during its CMA redetermination, where he focused on developing arguments relating to base cost allowances, asset health, and risk and return.  He also has significant experience in assessing the cost of capital and financeability, having advised National Gas, and SP Energy Networks in these areas.

In competition, Kyran has supported clients including Dawsongroup, Royal Mail, and British Telecom in the Trucks cartel follow-on damages claim before the CAT, where he focused on assessing the appropriate rate of pass-on.
