Sam Williams

Sam is a Director and co-founder of Economic Insight, with over two decades of experience.  He is a leading economist, known for helping clients solve key strategic problems relating to competition policy, regulation and commercial decision-making.

He cuts through complex problems, delivering straightforward messages and direct advice that helps clients make informed choices.  That’s why he’s a trusted advisor to global corporations, regulators and governments, at the most senior level (routinely providing Board-level briefings).  Sam has a track-record of delivering results for his clients, successfully guiding them through regulatory appeals; merger clearance processes; and high-pressure litigation matters.

During his career, Sam has represented clients, and given evidence on their behalf, at the CAT; CMA; the High Court (tax tribunal); and before various sectoral regulators.
